I have the three arlo wire-free kit and installed it over the weekend and my biggest problem is that my camera that I have overlooking my garage is detecting all the time. It is above my AC unit and I am wondering if that is what is causing the issue?

Yeah, that is what I was wondering too, but I just didn't know how the motion is detected. Like if it is actual motion or some kind of heat science-y stuff.

Like if it is actual motion or some kind of heat science-y stuff.

It's the heat science-y stuff !

The motion detector is a PIR and detects infrared red wavelengths or the reflection of same...( sort of the same unit that works those floodlights that come on when you walk near )

Its possible the heat waves ( tho IR isn't heat per se ( there you go Sorchi )) are tripping it...

Temp move the camera off tothe side and see if problem continues ( aimed at same location )...BTW motion is detected better at edges of the PIR sensor than middle.
