When I went to check recordings, they're gone? How are recordings erased?

I had someone over to sit my elderly aunt. When i went to check the recordings on 3 of my cameras they were gone. How can this happen if I did mot do it?

Recordings will be deleted when the storage retention is reached. That would be 7 days if you have an old camera w/o a paid subscription. Some here have reported that sometimes the recordings are deleted a bit early (6 days).

Did you get notifications during the period when there were no recordings?

Do you have USB storage connected to your base station?

Also verify that no filters are set in the library.
