    <description>&lt;P&gt;James C. provided a good response reference why the Arlo Ultra 4K recording light is meant to stay on:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LThe "glow" you are referring to is likely the IR Led that allows the camera to illuminate its field of view during nighttime recordings or recordings in areas where there is not sufficient ambient lighting to allow visibility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can disable these Leds but this will prevent visibility in dark environments.
