      <description>Camera was acting odd after I put fresh batteries in it ... it said it was still dead , replace batteries ... so I put another set in ... said the same thing ... today , I look out my window and it was on fire ... thank God it wasn't inside or near something else or it would have burned down my house ... will never use arlo again</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My first question would be what type/brand batteries were you using...??&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Only one time in the years I heard of issues re heat were rechargeables of a china brand... that's why Arlo ONLY supported one brand of rechargable batteries for the Arlo HD.... they had built in safety features&lt;/P&gt;
