topic If you have old 12v DC transformer, thread two wires through battery springs? in Arlo

If you have old 12v DC transformer, thread two wires through the battery springs.

The two battery springs are those closest to the camera. Then connect it to the transformer (experiment with +/-).

Hey presto no more batteries (used the same method for my RC helicopter;)

FYI...

the Arlo HD cameras run on 6v ( 2 x 3v , 123 cell, 2 sets in parallel ) they do NOT run on 12v dc and doing so can ruin the camera

Also while the input voltage can be as high as 8.4v dc from rechargeable, 12v can be to high for it to handle. Some have lost cameras this way

just be aware before giving advice
