topic Camera zooming itself, not responding to app adjustment; chewing through batteries in Arlo

We have five Arlo wire-free cameras coordinating with one base station. One of the cameras is doing strange things- zooming itself to one corner of the picture and then not responding to any adjustments made via the app. It has also used up 3 new batteries within the last month. No problems or new batteries required with any of the other cameras.

The camera is outside and on the east side of my house. I'm wondering if somehow it is getting too hot? We're hitting 100 almost every day now, though the camera is shaded. Or maybe I just have one defective camera?

Any thoughts are appreciated- Thanks!

Easy,.... Just swap one of the GOOD cameras with the one casusing problems.... if condition/trouble follows the camera then it may be defective and requires a trouble ticket to Netgear via support
