Why did you remove the battery level when a device is being charged?

I can't check the battery level on a charging device from the mobile app unless I turn the device back on. We used to be able to. I can still check the battery level from the web app (which is shocking since it's usually the web app that gets functionality removed first). It's stupid for me to have to re-enable the camera briefly in order to check the charge level.

Have you tried checking in the Device settings? the percentage should be visible there.

Correct. That's where it is when the device is turned on, and where it used to be when the device is charging. Plug yours into a charger and open that screen. You'll see the battery level indicator show up for a split second, then disappear. They removed it.
