topic Tenergy Rechargeables not all they are made-out to be in Arlo

I purchased 16 Tenergy Batteries and their charger for my 3 cameras in January. While they were pretty much charged when they arrived, I chose to raise them back to 100% before using them. One of the new batteries simply would not charge, reporting 'err' in the charger. Contacted Tenergy and 2 months later received a replacement battery.

Fast forward to earlier this month. Time to re-charge the batteries, so pulled the cameras and began the process. Now I find another Tenergy battery that won't recharge, again reporting 'err'. This is despite resetting the charger, using a different charging slot/etc.. So now I've a second of these expensive rechargeable batteries recommended by Arlo that doesn't survive 1 charging cycle!

I've sent another note to Tenergy, letting them know how I feel about their product quality. But since this is beyond their warranty period, I guess I start buying throw-aways as oppose to Tenergy rechargeables... will probably be less expensive in the long-haul given my experience.

Arlo engineers need to rethink their recommendation and perhaps come-up with another rechargeable for their customers.
