Using Base Station at work. Any consideration when placing on large network?

I have an Arlo base station that I wish to use at my work. This is a large corporate with an extensive network. I have a connection that goes straight out to the internet, yet the app won't detect it during setup.

If I take it home, it works immediately.

Are there any considerations when placing it on a large network e.g. they have to be on the same subnet / wifi ?

You'll have to work with your network folks on this. Most companies block access to various sites (or have a whitelist of allowed connections). You will need ports 80, 123 and 443 to arlo.com open for a successful connection.
