topic Wireless camera Falling from Magnetic Mount in Arlo

Has anyone had an instance where the magnet mounted camera simply falls off? I found one of my cameras lying in my driveway. I'm trying to determine if it fell, if the wind blew it off, if the batteries went dead and somehow affected the magnet strength, or if someone deliberately knocked it off. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Are you using the Arlo magnetic base or an older Vuezone one? There's a difference in texture that could account for this. I've never had a camera fall or slip but that doesn't mean there's not an issue with yours. The best answer might be to buy a different mount that screws into the camera bottom (virtually all camera mounts use the same 1/4"-20 thread).

Only other one I remember falling off was a user that had a bird land on the Arlo camera.... simple fix was a fishing line tether to the camera of about 8" so it woundn't fall to ground ( used the threaded mount hole with matching bolt to attach )
