How long does camera supposed to last? Battery dies quickly and constantly not showing anything.

Can someone tell me how long these cameras are supposed to last? My batteries die quickly, constantly not showing anything. I'm so frustrated with these things.

Assuming you do mean the Arlo hd cameras ( 4 batteries)....

They usu last about 2- 3 months normal usage.

First question I ask is how much recording / live viewing do you do ( most battery use).

Mind that spec use is less than 5 mins per day.

Some low usage cameras of mine go as long as 5 months or so

I don't mean the batteries. I mean the arlo camera itself. I was just wondering if I needed to think about getting something different.

I have various cameras that are years old and still working. Any particular piece of electronics may fail at any particular time but the overall rate of failure seems to be pretty small.
