I recently went to an ORBI mesh router WIFI system, but I still need to run an extender to the room where I have the Arlo base station so that I can plug it in. Do all of the Arlo base stations require a direct connection, or is there a truly wireless one available?

They all require a etherent port.

Why not use one of the Orbi satellites near the placement of the base ? It does work very well.

Hi,

I use the Netgear MR1100 cellular wireless router with my Arlo cameras. Works great and is portable.
