On Arlo Base Station (VMB3010r2), can you use 2 USB ports on the back for local storage?

On the original Arlo base station vmb3010r2 can you use the 2 usb ports on the back of the base for local storage, like you can on some of the later bases. If so how do you set it up to work with this base.

The USB ports on the VMB3000 series bases were never activated. You need to buy a new base and start fresh if you want to be able to use them.

If you have the original and want to record video when internet fails, Arlo should give a discount to upgrade to newer model since the usbs where not usable, which is a design flaw !

Not a design flaw, just not put into production at that time...was planned but time was limited till the next model 4000.

BTW, they do give power only
