topic Can Base Station be used as a wireless router? in Arlo

Recently having troubles with WiFi resulted in technician coming out to say that the two wireless routers are competing even though we have the base station plugged into our DSL router via ethernet. He turned off the DSL router WiFi and said that we should just connect using the base station WiFi. Is this possible?

No. While the base is a WiFi router, it isn't possible to use it for anything other than Arlo.

You can try moving the base as far as possible from the router. It's unlikely that the two are interfering with each other but adding distance between them should help.
