The furthest camera from the base can not be accessed at all when it changes the channel to the same as my 2.4Ghz network. It won't send any motion detection alerts or operate as normal till I change the channel. The next furthest camera is slow to access but still works. The channel on the wireless mesh is set and not automatic. I can change it but in 24 hours the Arlo base will change an match it. I brought the camera within a few feet of the base station and it starts working again. The main concern I have is why it started changing its channel to the same as my wireless network. I've even set it to something like channel 5 and it still switches to 5 within 24 hours. There are no other wireless networks within a mile or so of my property so its not switching to avoid channels in use.

My VMB4000r3 base station keeps changing to the same channel as my 2.4 GHz network. I change it on my APs and then it just changes to match again. This is causing my cameras to have poor connection due to the saturation of the wireless channel. Is there a way to force the channel to stay on the base?

Unfortunately not.

How close is the base station to the router? You can reduce wifi interference by moving the base somewhat further away. So maybe try that as a test.

I have a mesh system with access points throughout so there isn't a place in the house it wouldnt still be in close proximity. I've had these cameras and there locations the same for a year and this just started happening with the last firmware update.

I was thinking really close (within a couple feet).

FWIW, I have a mesh as well, and the base stations are connected near the mesh. I'm not seeing any evidence of interference with my own systems.
