Hi Zoomi77,

This is an iOS feature that prioritizes video call capable applications for contacts (apps like Skype, Facetime, etc. appear here) as you can see on the screenshot below. iOS prioritizes the app displayed based on frequency of use and eligibility. For example, a contact with an iPhone might have FaceTime displayed here if you regularly use FaceTime with that contact. The last app used will be shown here. If you tap and hold the icon, you can select another app. Rest assured this is NOT sharing Arlo cameras or any Arlo information with contacts in your contacts list.

This topic has been covered previously and was marked “solved”, however solutions proposed do not resolve issue.
On IOS, certain contacts (Android?) have an “Arlo Legacy” label under the video in lieu of a Facetime or Video label.
Clicking on the icon results in launch of Arlo.
Holding the icon offers options of switching app related to video icon, BUT offers only one choice — Arlo!!
please advise
have rebuilt contacts to no avail and
followed suggestions in prior thread
Thank you
Tapping the

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Yes, indeed I read the information in the earlier thread and tested using that information.
The point I am trying to convey is that this statement is in fact NOT the case “If you tap and hold the icon, you can select another app.” No options appear. A tap shows only Arlo as the only option and a hold launched Arlo.
Please could you test it?
Thanks

We have tested this by holding on the video icon and shows what the screenshot shows above. What phone device do you have and what iOS are you running on?

Is the contact (which you are seeing Arlo only on the video icon) using an iOS device or non-iOS device? Could you also provide a screenshot that when you hold on the video icon that shows only Arlo?
