topic Connections in Arlo

I have a long, ranch style house. My Modem/router, ATT UVerse Arris NVG 589, is located in the far end of the house. I have a DLink Wireless Access point that is connected to my modem by Ethernet cable in the other end of the house. The WAP has a separate name and password. The WAP has a static IP setup in my router. My question is: will this system work if the base station Is connected to the WAP instead of to the modem/router? The cameras would be located on the end of the house where the WAP is. This is an expensive system, and I do not want to buy it if it will not work in this configuration.

As long as the WAP has an Ethernet port and the connection has access to your DHCP server it should work fine.
