Using older Vuezone mounts for Arlo

I've been adding more Arlo cameras and as I do, they have been replacing the Vuezone cameras which had mounts in certain places.

One thing of note... the older Vuezone ball mounts are the same for Arlo with one exception... they tend to be a bit smoother. ( arlo mounts have a more grain finish )

Since the Arlo cameras are heavier, on two of my older mounts the newer cameras were slipping a little bit.

Not wanting to try and get the mounts off ( they are on good and didn't want to pry the paint/wallboard skin off ) I cut a small circle ( dime size ) out of a balloon and placed it on the ball mount before the attachment of the camera. Works great, no problem with adjustment and didn't loose a bit of paint.

BTW, as a side note, someone else suggested using the 3m commander strips with the mounts as they come off easy with no damage to walls/paint

I have used all my old Viewzone mounts without any problems so far. Great time saver.

Tried the vuezone mounts but mine were too smooth, the Arlos will not stay in place....
