I have a camera setup along the main road through my ranch. It seems like there is a delay between the time motion is detected and when the camera starts recoding. I get a lot of dust, no car, or the backend of a car. I've tried moving the camera pointing more down the road to catch the motion sooner. That didnt work. I also keep getting motion of the trees blowing in the wind. Just tring to see who is coming and going along the road. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Arlo HD has always had the issue of a slow startup.... there's a delay as the trigger event has to go to the base and then back to start recording...

A thing to try; lower the camera a bit ( not angle ) and aim more down the road way

cars are picked up farther away than people due the high level of IR reflection

Also, go to Pan/zoom and reduce picture by about 15%, re aim camera so it's down roadway more

and see if that helps
