Orscher,

Do not hold the sync button. Briefly press and release the sync button and this should result in a flash green camera LED on the base (center LED). This means the base station is ready for a camera to sync.

I have the same issue with mine. The sync light on the base station won't come on. Tried holding for two seconds - nothing. Removed the device and aded it back to my account - nothing. Did a hard reset - nothing. Don't know what else to try. Should I return to Best Buy?

Brief press the sync button - <1 second. Any luck?
