Motion won't detect through glass window but works fine when away from window?

Hi, I have one Arlo wireless original camera VMC3030 mounted in the house in front of a window viewing the front porch. I can view the porch area on the Arlo app. Problem is I can’t get it to detect motion, record nor send me notifications. When I move the camera away from the window it functions and sends me the motion detection notification and video.

Is it that the camera can not detect warmth changes in front of the window glass.???
Any idea how to get around this?

The only camera that works well thru glass is te Q camera...as they use pixel detection* over PIR.

(* the camera see motion as the picture changes )
