Motion detection is not very sensitive

My Arlo is inbetween door and storm door. It does not have a very sensitive motion, Is it my settings?

No, not the settings, but your placement....

The PIR device which detects motion DOES NOT see thru most glass ( as glass block IR ).

The only camera that sees thru glass well is the Q camera as it uses motion detect by pixel change ( but is not weather resistant )
