How do I transfer camera to different base

I moved into a house and the previous owner (not reachable) left their Arlo cameras. Can I reset the cameras that were left so that they'll sync with my base? Or are the cameras just throw-away?

Yes you will be able to use them.

Remove and replace the batteries to reset the cameras and then sync them to your base.

If they have been disconnected from a base for some time then the batteries will probably be flat.

I'm assuming that the cameras are still somehow connected to the original owner's base. I've put new batteries in and when I sync it flashes a few blues and then flashes orange.

As mentioned by Streak2, they should sync.

make sure your not holding the base sync button ( quick press... And it can be done without the app,just press base then sec later camera )

I tried again and recorded the video of what I was doing. This time it synced. Thanks for the assist.
