Setting system manually

Can the arlo be set, like a burglar alarm, manually, so that I can activate when I leave home and deactivate when I arrive home. Similarly, activate and deactivate at night.

In a sense, yes. You would use your app to switch modes manually between All Motion On and All Motion Off. There's no button that you can push so it's a few steps to do this but certainly not hard.

I've a tado heating system that uses the location capability in your smart phone to manage the heating. It would be great if netgear could add something similar to this system so it activates when you plus family leave the house and deactivates when you return. This shouldn't be difficult.
