Temporary Install

I have an arlo which i will be installing at my pals place. Can I commission, register and check out the system at my place on my router, before re-connecting to his router. As far a I can see the only thing to change would be the ISP and IP address, so it looks good to go, but I'd like some confirmation before I proceed.

That will work fine as long as the final router doesn't have some sort of blocks set up. If there's an issue, ensure ports 80 and 443 to netgear.com are open. That's usually an issue only if someone has mucked about with security settings.
