Poor Motion detection

My Arlo camera keeps missing people approaching or leaving my house. Sometimes it picks up sometimes it doesn’t. Sensitivity is set to 100% but still doesn’t work every time.
I have tried various different positions but to no avail
Does anybody else have this problem, have I just wasted my money on a substandard system?

Have you read the FAQ here on best camera positioning? Post screenshots for suggestions.

Have tried all available locations without any improvement.

I have a similar problem. Person detection is inconsistant. This morning I was notified of a person and when I looked a vehicle had come into view!

Have you tried to remove the device form Settings > My Devices > re-add and test again.

Hi Shayne S, Thanks for getting back to me. No, I havent tried your suggestion as the camera is in our holiday home and will not be there again for a few weeks. I do have the same ongoing problem with my camera here at home. I will try as you have suggested and let you know.
