More detail needed. Are you using the app or a web browser? Have you tried both? For the app, the phone has to be on WiFi with your base, not cell service. If you have a VPN running, turn it off.

using a browser. have my vmb3500 and 5 cameras running fine, but need more cameras to secure my house

Still more detail needed. Are you trying to set this up on your existing account? The free basic plan only supports 5 cameras, regardless of the number of bases. Do you have a subscription or are you using a second account?

We need all the details so we don't sit here spinning wheels.
