battery use when camera is off

The battery was at 96% after initial setup and playing around. It dropped from 96% to %33 after two days with the camera setting to "off". The night vision setting was still "on" and the mode was still "armed", but I would have thought that turning

the camera off would suffice. Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks.
