topic Battery not charging in Arlo

Battery will not charge. The battery is only 3 months old. Running the Arlo camera on the power wire works fine, It appears the charger, USB cable and the camera are all working properly. What is the expected life of a battery? Is there a way to test the battery itself? I would hate to shell $50 every 3 months to support the camera's use.

Mine are a couple of years old but any particular device can fail at any time. First, try this:

https://kb.arlo.com/000052305/My-Arlo-Pro-or-Arlo-Pro-2-battery-is-dead-what-do-I-do

I tend to recharge my batteries when I get the low battery notification (15%) which may help to avoid this.

If it's truly a dead battery, open a case with support since you're within your 1 year warranty:

https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx
