For a first attempt, reboot the base. Then remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync. Update firmware if prompted. Re-add the camera to any custom modes and check settings. Hopefully, that's all that's needed. If not, swap cameras around to see if it's the camera or location.

Purchased in July 2015. As of January 2019 all latest camera updates completed. This is a 5 camera system using rechargeable batteries. All cameras are set to record 30 seconds with the best battery life setting activated. Night vision is on. Motion sensitivity at 80. One of the 5 cameras exhausts its batteries in less than 24 hours, this stared about 2 weeks ago. No recording or activation, you can watch the battery percentage drop on the app. This particular camera is mounted 5 metres from the base station with direct line of sight.

Any ideas? Going to be a little ticked if the answer is update your system after less than 3 years and 6 months since purchase.

All cameras are mounted outside with the base station mounted outside also, but sheltered and under cover. Two cameras do not have direct line of sight to the base station and the batteries last 3 to 4 months without problems on all other cameras.
