Camera Records Too Long

I have three first-generation Arlo cameras, and all are set to record for 10 seconds. One camera, however, intermittently records for up to 2 minutes ... even though all motion has long stopped. As a result, the batteries in this camera die very quickly.

I have put fresh batteries in the camera, have reset the base station, have re-sychronized the camera, etc., but the problem still exists.

Is there a way to fix this, or is the camera defective? Thanks.

It coyuld be a bad camera but I would create a new mode with the same settings as currently used since the mode itself could be the problem.
