Arlo operating temperatures

I see that the operating temperature for the product is 14 to 120 degrees... based on the response from the arlo team to another question:

The operating temperature is 14° to 122° F (-10° C to 50° C). The camera may not perform optimally in extreme temperatures (tempuratures well below or above the operating temperature) primarily due to the battery constraints.

Does that mean that we should bring them indoors and not leave them outside in extreme cold weather or they could become damaged?

I just want to be sure

That said, I used cameras outside at zero without problems... battery chemistry for current does start to slow down below -20f(?)
