I have never been able to get the base station to start properly. Have good internet connection (verified by several devices connected to same port), all cables attached, restarted many times and always get same result. Amber power light, no internet light, and green light for smart home or what ever it is (4th light).

Consider a factory reset for the base station. To do this, press and hold the reset button on the back of the base station until all LEDs flash amber. Please let me know if yo continue experiencing this issue.
