Attempting to sync cameras to base station, light just blinks blue steadily for several minutes

What I tried:

- press the sync button on the base station, see blinking green light for syncing

- press the sync button on the camera, see steady blinking blue light for syncing

The blue light steadily blinks for several minutes. Nothing happens. Eventually the base station turns off syncing mode. I've tried with both cameras and had the same experience with both.

Try a hard reset (press the reset button next to the power switch for several seconds until the front LEDs start flashing - if still on old firmware, use the reset button as well as the Sync button at the same time for the same LED result). If that doesn't help, create a trouble ticket.
