    <description>&lt;P&gt;The cameras use a PIR device to detect IR / motion... the max distance for people is about 20+ ft for Arlo, 25+ft for Pro/Pro2. ( mind that cars easily reflect ir so they can be detected farther away so avoid roadways in field of view )&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;make traffic flow accross the FOV and SLOWLY adjust the sense level to achieve good responses without a lot of false triggers&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Arlo is there a distance limit?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;BR /&gt;I’ve recently bought an Arlo System but I’m not sure how the motion monitoring system works. Is there a distance limit? One in my back seems only to work when I’m close to it and the one looking at the front seems to work intermittently.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
