Arlo wirefree is much slower to start recording than Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2. To make Arlo wirefree manageable, you need to be meticulous with both your camera positioning and the motion sensitivity setting. For the front of my house I have two cameras at right angles to each other and both not only record on motion detection but they trigger each other to record as well. That may help you out in capturing what you want to capture but I really suggest the Arlo Pro is a big step up from the original Arlo wirefree
