topic Base station reboots constantly in Arlo

My base station just began rebooting non-stop. Power cycling or resetting does not help. I called support who transferred me to a 3rd party who handles Arlo and they asked for $150 and stated I must be under a “Man in the middle” attack and would require that cost to clean. I declined as I have Corporate Security on all my devices as I work from home and is updated and monitored. I switched ISPs to a more current technology and higher speed with better firewall and security. After all this, I plug the station back in and it reboots constantly. I assume it is just defective and I should purchase a new one but before I do, I wanted to poll the audience.
Any advice is appreciated..

Once again, someone Googled for support rather than using the link here which gives you free support.

https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx

The issue may be either the power supply or base. Open a case (for free!) for faulty hardware.
