Not detecting obvious motion until I touch it!

I am still getting used to the new device. I have checked online it nothing seems to address this. My devices are not detecting me walking across the lawn or my dogs running across the lawn but when I touch them take them down and resync them- I get the alert notification. I had the sensitivity pretty high and I moved it even higher, but what gives? Ideas?

Well they should detect...but here's a few ideas.

Max range for people ( on Arlo original ) is about 20ft, so try not to cover a distance more than that in the view.

The sense level is adjustable , most of my arlo camera run at a setting of about 90%+.

Position is also important so try and make traffic move accross the field of view as opposed straight on

In you case, run the sense level up to 100% and retest, make sure the cameras are armed after doing so ( motion icon should be black on live view screen, not grayed )
