I think this is just the newest generation base station that is for lower-cost systems. All of the base stations including the original one should still be supported. The one you have is the newest type.

Which hub do I have?

I'm trying to figure out which hub I own. It is a small round Hub that looks like a can or coffee mug. Got it 'brand new' at Target 2 months ago, but I can't find any information on it. Nothing shows names for the different hubs (even Version 1, or V2), much less compares differences/improvements of the different models. Everything is based on the names of the cameras! I'm concerned that I have a Version 1 hub that is very outdated, and has been a waste of my money. Additionally, since I can find NO info on it from the official Arlo site, is it still even supported?!?

Thanks for the help.

Update: model # is VMB3500r4.

Does that help? And if this is a more basic model, what features is it missing?

You answered your own question - it's the VMB3500 which is the new version for the original wireless cameras. It lacks a power switch.
