Can I connect two different Arlo systems to 1 phone. Will the connections interfere with each other?

You don't connect anything to your phone. Your account, which is cloud-based, simply uses the app to access things. You can have multiple installations with one account but remember that there's a limit of 5 cameras per free account.

I have the Arlo Base Station with 5 cameras and now I have the Arlo Go with Verizon. I'm paying the Verizon fee to access the camera but I can't add it to my account since the home unit came with 5 cameras. How can I use the app to view both? Do I need to setup the ArloGo with a different email and login separately to the app?

Yup. Either subscribe to a plan that supports >5 cameras or create a new account and sync the Go to that one. Then use Settings, Grant Access from the Go account to the original account so all cameras show up in one login.
