Are Arlo camera weather resistant or needs to be under a soffet or porch to protect them?

Just received our arlo, and I installed the 2 indoor cameras, my question is the other 2 are for out doors, do they need to be under a soffet or porch to protect them from the elements. Or are they weather resistant.

They can be mounted outside in the weather as they are water resistant
