Newly purchased kit... trying to set up entire system (have 8 cameras). Can't progress beyond setting ONE ARLO camera up!

Constant request to update firmware (have researched and read numerous posts here); System motion detection disarmed. Fresh batteries (100% last night; now heading towards 30% overnight). Ridiculous loop for firmware update. Have I wasted my time and money buying this kit? Why isn't the camera updating? I've tried everything... 😞

Remove all devices in Settings, My Devices. Press the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber. Claim the base and update firmware if prompted. Sync the cameras, updating as you go.
