Internet went off while I was on vacation, but I had a USB drive connected. Recordings from when internet was down are only 2 kb long and with no content, so I can only see times when there was an activity, but files won't play; recordings when internet was up are ok. Is this like a software issue with firmware from my base station?

Obv , it's an issue... but unsure if its the new FW...

I would pull the Usb stick/drive and reformat, then hook back up and arm then turn off the internet connection to test.

At least you will have a solid info base to report to Netgear Support
