Motion Detection Only Working Sometimes

Why does my motion sensor only work sometimes? Its positioned to see anyone walking up to my door yet it does not always work or if it does it recorda after the person is gone and i get what appears to be a false alarm.

These motion sensors are designed to work best for subjects moving across the face of the sensor and do not do as well picking up motion moving towards and away from the cameras straight on. You may need to reposition the cameras to get the best sensitivity.

Hi Npacenti86,

Have you tried re booting the Camera and or Base Station?

Also, you may adjust the sensitivity level to try and remedy the situation
