In your scenario, No... if a camera is recording from a previous trigger, a new trigger will not interupt.

BUT, You can stack rules using a trigger camera for more than one recording camera. ( you just can't use the same camera more than once for multi rules )

see; https://community.netgear.com/t5/Arlo-Q/More-than-one-rule-in-a-mode/m-p/1619820

Exp ; you can use cam A detect motion and start recording on cameras B & C

But you CAN'T use A to detect&record with an email AND another rule with A to detect & record on audio with a push

Is it possible to activate two different rules at the same time? For example, camera 1 and 2 are activated due to a motion. 2 seconds later, camera 3 also detects a motion. Camera 3 is a piece away, and should also activate cameras 1 and 2, but they are already busy with the first move. Look at my drawing (attached) and see if you understand the question.

Is it then poible to get an alert from both rules?

What you say is that Arlo can only trigger one rule at a time? Let's say Rule A has only Camera A and Rule B only has Camera B. Camera A is already recording - then Camera B can not be triggered for recording 2 seconds after A because A makes a recording? That because Camera A - or the rule - is already in use?

(Forget about alerts; email or push.)

Then it's just that one rule can be triggered at a time. Need a new motion to camera B to enable recording after A has finished recording?

No... what I'm saying is IF you have rules that cover the same camera twice the first trigger event will take preference as the camera is in a record mode already

If cam A gets triggered, it will record and at the same time if B gets triggered it will also record.

What won't happen is if A is set to trigger A & B and another rule is set for C to trigger B & C, the second rule for B will not work as it is already recording... C may record , not sure, but it should

Stacking the rules use to work quite well in the past, but lately no so much

exp;

A detect A record

A detect B record

B detect B record

B detect A record
