The best you can do is go with the Tenergy rechargable 123 cells... they are approved by Netgear.

As to converting to ac, it has been done if you search the web, but be aware much of the info is incorrect...

I have a VMS3530 (5) camera system that uses batteries only for the cameras.

I want to convert the cameras to 110 volt household currnet. These cameras do not have anoutlet to plug a power adapter into. Is there a kit or method to convert each camer to 110 v houshold current?

PLease advise

Tom

thanks for the feedback regarding hardwiring the cameras

I was simply going to purchase the power supplies for the new cameras ,drill a hole in the battery cover, feed the wire threw and solder or use alligator clips to the terminals to attach the wire once I cut off the jack?

what do you think
