Just set up my Arlo and my old lorex ping cameras are having trouble joining my wifi network. My wemo plugs are also having trouble joining. Has anyone else had an issue like this? I am not at the property so I have been rebooting the Arlo base to knock it offline for a while and that seems to allow one or two more devices to join the network each time I do it. Once the device join the are good until I knock the wifi down then the disappear again. Why does this make it harder for devices to join my wifi network?

It could be the location of the base relative to the other devices since they likely all use the 2.4GHz band. A strong signal could interfere with other devices connecting to the router. Moving the base away from the router and/or the various problem devices would be a good first step.

Another possibility would be to reboot the router if you can do that remotely to see if that helps.
