We just installed our cameras but have not been able to set a schedule for the motion detection. When we add a schedule it doesn't let us save it?

What exactly are you doing? App (what device) or browser? There's no "save" for the schedule - when you add a mode to a timeslot, it's just there. Is it possible that you're trying to go through midnight? That spans days which isn't allowed. You would set a mode for 12:00AM to whatever and then again from a start time to 11:59PM. Think of it as strictly a single day at a time.
