&lt;P&gt;You really don't save any power turning the cameras OFF ( in settings )... Just DISARM them and the power usage is almost null ( just pings the base now and then to let the base know its there )&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The OFF in settings is more of a privacy mode so no one can view camera if shared or in private areas like bedrooms. Only the primary account holder can turn back on&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Highest power usage is recording or live viewing&lt;/P&gt;</description>
