If the base is causing interference, an easy fix may be a wifi extender with an ethernet port...

Set up the extender and plug the base into it.

I just experienced an internet problem with AT&T. The service kept shutting down. ATT came seven times to try and fix it. The seventh time they determined it was the Netgear Base Station interferring with the WiFi internet connection. Never had that problem before. They unplugged the Base Sation from the BGW210-700 ATT router and everything works fine except I no longer have functional security cameras. Should I replace the Arlo Base Station? Or, is there another connection I can make to get the security cameras working again? Appreciate any help with this. Each time I was on the phone to ATT was 30 to 45 minutes.UGH!

Another possibility is to swap the system at the store. It may somehow be the base is faulty.
